St. Patty's Day Outfit Ideas

I heard on Project Runway once that they don't put green on the cover of magazines because it doesn't sell as well as other colors.  I found that interesting.  Maybe it's because we subconsciously associate it with the color of envy or being sick.  I don't really know.  I tend to think of green as a happy spring color, a welcome change after a long cold winter.  So in that respect, it's fitting that we wear green for St. Patrick's Day, which is right before the first day of spring.

PS ~ I love the ability to create outfits like these on Polyvore.  They also have an app and it's my go-to on my phone when I'm waiting somewhere with nothing to do.  I find it fun to search through the many different items they have to put together fun outfit inspirations and then try to recreate them with what I have in my own closet!

Seeing Green

St. Patrick's Day is coming up in about a week and a half!  Make sure you have something green to wear for that day. ;)  Growing up, we would always pinch whichever family member forgot to wear green (usually that would be me because I always forgot, haha).  It was always a fun time.
